Good Morning. 43 and sunny in Chicago today, but the wind is cold. It's considerably warmer in Valrico, FL, where we'll be tomorrow night. Masochistic me likes most that the UV Index is 8, which means there's a pretty good chance I'll come back red as a lobster. It all fades to smooth brown sooner or later.

John F'n Kerry was in Chicago last night rallying the troops ahead of next week's primary here, not that he has any competition left.

The right-wing freaks on the Illinois Leader think some big bomb is going to drop in the Illinois GOP Senate race this weekend. I hope it's something against Jack Ryan...that guy is going to be easy pickings for the Dems in November. He doesn't stand for anything.

Sox got lit up in spring training action yesterday. Rough outing for Garland and Buehrle, hopefully it's because they were experimenting and not because they're scuffling.
