Bob Herbert and I rarely see eye-to-eye. But he's got some good points in his column todayabout how it just seems like our anti-terror policy has turned into all Iraq, all the time instead of worrying about the evildoers who've actually done something to us.

Other than that, not much new to report. It's damned hot here today. Freddy and the Hose looked great yesterday, in a game I attended with a pounding hangover thanks to overindulging at Eric's Bastille Day bash the night before.

And yeah...we lost at bocce. : (
